Essi Bagheri born in Iran raised as a suicide bomber changed his life around to help those who are struggling from addiction, to become the guiding light he could not find during his time of misery, a person who struggled through from being an alcoholic and passing through multiple terrain as a refugee, to finally achieve his destination Vancouver. He brings to you the will, the way to fight through the never ending darkness in the life of an addict person the best and most helpful method that is tried and tested on him.

From a traumatic childhood to a boy soldier in the Revolutionary Guard, Essi Bagheri’s life is as fascinating and compelling, as it is dark and turbulent. Growing up in pre-revolution Iran, Essi witnessed first-hand the strict laws that were enforced once the new regime seized power.
After suffering a brutal assault at barely 9, young Essi seeks to redeem himself by joining the Revolutionary Guard. But after watching his friends die horrifically and pointlessly – cogs in the regime’s machine – Essi becomes disillusioned and resorts to drastic measures to get himself discharged.
What follows is an epic tale as Essi is forced into an arranged marriage and flees Iran after a drunken brawl. As he moves from country to country in an attempt to start over, his drug and alcohol abuse spin out of control. But it’s only at our deepest and darkest moments, that we can find the light. This is the story of Essi’s struggle for redemption and recovery, and eventually self-forgiveness.

My message calls people up to be able to live from a place of love, for themselves, their friends, their family, and especially for strangers. Reconnecting with yourself and those around you. I would love to see people really see the people that sit beside them. To go home and love more, to be more grateful, for others to see other people as human beings. I want people to live with love, no matter what is going on in their world. Let’s set examples by living with love, being vulnerable, and expressing feelings of love, kindness, and gratitude. That is what will make the world a better place to live in.
